Olivia Minn is an award-winning student filmmaker and writer at Deerfield Academy, where she is a junior studying film, writing, and theater. Her short film Trapped, which explores teen isolation in the digital age, has earned Best Young Filmmaker, Best Short, and an Honorable Mention at the Scholastic Art Awards, along with official selections at festivals across the United States and Canada. Her memoir Confessions received a Gold Key in the Massachusetts Scholastic Writing Awards.

Beyond filmmaking, Olivia builds technology aimed at teen mental health: she founded FutureMe, an app honored at MIT’s Global Appathon, and developed a sentiment-analysis tool for the Presidential AI Challenge to help identify early signs of mental health struggles in teens. She has spent recent summers deepening these interests through study in data science, UI/app design, AI, and entrepreneurship.

Off screen, Olivia is a varsity rower at Deerfield Academy and a certified lifeguard.
